You may notice:
- Movement doesn't feel like it used to.

- Feel more confident in your body.
- Feel like yourself again.
The Occupational Therapy Difference
Occupational therapy looks beyond the symptoms to understand how they affect your everyday life.
That means care can address more than how your body feels. It can also help you understand what's getting in the way of the things you want or need to do and find practical ways to make everyday life work better.
The Process
1Consultation+
A complimentary 15-minute phone conversation so we can see if we're a good fit.
2Evaluation+
A 75-minute assessment of your concerns, your goals, and what's getting in the way. You'll leave with a clear picture of what's happening and a plan to change it.
3Plan of Care+
An individualized plan built around the activities that matter most to you, with goals you help choose.
4Sessions+
60-minute one-on-one sessions that build toward your goals, with practical strategies you can use in your everyday life.
Being able to do more of what matters to you, with a better understanding of your body and what helps you function well.
The Daily Occupations Framework
Occupational therapy looks at more than what hurts or what your body can't do. It looks at how your health, body, routines, environment, and daily activities all affect one another.
Care That Feels Approachable
My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, understanding your body, and figuring out what works for you.
I am committed to being a local resource by helping people access occupational therapy in a way that feels approachable, practical, and connected to real life.
The Daily Occupations framework helps us look at the whole picture, not just the symptom or issue that brought you in.
We Consider
Movement, strength, mobility, balance, body awareness, pain, and physical comfort.
Recovery, energy, stress, breath, and the ways your overall well-being affects how you function.
The habits and patterns that shape your days and whether they are actually supporting you.
The spaces, tools, and circumstances around you that can make an activity easier or harder.
The things you need or want to do: caring for yourself, working, exercising, traveling, connecting with others, enjoying hobbies, and participating in daily life.
We look at how these pieces connect, then identify what needs to change to help you do more of what matters to you.
That's the perspective behind every Daily Occupations plan of care.

How We Do This
Hands-On Techniques
So your body can let go of tension and move more freely.
Hands-on care may include myofascial release, visceral manipulation, or craniosacral work. It may also include gentle tactile cues during exercises and everyday activities, to help you sense how you're moving and build body awareness.
Somatic Practice
So you can feel more connected to, and at home in, your body.
Developing greater awareness of your body's sensations and signals through breathwork, meditation, grounding, and other somatic practices.
Movement
So you can trust your body in the activities you love.
Building strength, balance, mobility, and confidence through guided movement, including yoga-based approaches. Movement is connected to your goals and the activities you want to do, not exercise for exercise's sake.
Everyday Life & Occupation
So what helps in a session carries into your day.
Bringing the work into your actual life. We may look at how you're approaching an activity, adapt a routine or environment, or find ways to make something easier, more comfortable, or more manageable.
Meet Hannah
Doctor of Occupational Therapy · Movement Professional
I help people feel more at home in their bodies and more capable in their everyday lives.
I'm an occupational therapist specializing in adult community-based care. I believe care should reflect the whole person, not just a diagnosis or a standard treatment plan.
I start by understanding what matters to you, then build practical strategies around it.
Educational Foundation
- Doctorate of Occupational Therapy
- B.S. in Health Promotion, Nutrition & Exercise Science
- Minor in Aging Adults
Continuing Education & Lifelong Learning
- John Barnes myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and manual techniques
- The Functional Pelvis: Pelvic Floor Therapy for Occupational Therapists, including hands-on manual and visceral techniques lab
- 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (actively working toward 500 hours!)
- ISSA Functional Aging Specialist
- Trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care certification
- Reiki Level 2, Usui lineage
These areas shape how I practice. Occupational therapy remains the foundation.
A Little More About Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature with my feet on the Earth, practicing yoga, collecting beach glass, reading, spending time with my people, and traveling with my partner.
I care about creating a life that feels grounded, balanced, and full.
It's all about occupational balance.
Why the Ginkgo?
The ginkgo leaf is the symbol of Daily Occupations. Ginkgo trees are known for their resilience, adapting and continuing to grow through change. And the leaf's two connected halves reflect the heart of this practice: your body and your everyday life are never separate.
Together, they represent what I hope for every client: a body that feels more like home, and the confidence to keep doing what you love.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?+
8353 Mentor Avenue, Unit 10, Mentor, Ohio 44060. We're on the second floor of the historic Corning-White House.
Clients come from Mentor, Willoughby, Concord, Chardon, Mayfield, Cleveland Heights, Cleveland, and nearby communities.
Is the office accessible?+
There are a few steps to enter the building, and the office is on the second floor, reached by a flight of stairs with a railing. There is no elevator.
If stairs are a concern, please let Hannah know before scheduling so we can talk through options together.
Is this website accessible?+
Daily Occupations is committed to making this website accessible to everyone. If you have difficulty using any part of this site, please call (440) 636-4533 or email hannah@dailyoccupations.com, and we'll provide the information you need in another way.
Is this physical therapy?+
No. Daily Occupations is an occupational therapy practice. Movement may be part of your care, but the focus is on connecting how your body feels to your routines, your environment, and the activities that matter to you.
How is this different from traditional OT?+
Occupational therapy is the foundation, but your care is built around your goals rather than a set program. Sessions may combine movement, hands-on techniques, somatic practices, education, and practical strategies for everyday life.
What should I expect?+
Your first visit is a 75-minute evaluation, and follow-up sessions are 60 minutes. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in.
Do you offer pelvic floor therapy?+
Daily Occupations offers external pelvic health and wellness care, which may include breathing, posture, body awareness, movement, education, and external hands-on techniques. Internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment are not provided. If you need internal care, I'm happy to help you find a pelvic floor specialist.
Do I need a doctor's referral?+
In most cases, no. Ohio allows occupational therapists to see clients without a physician referral. If you plan to submit superbills to insurance, check whether your plan requires one.
Can I use my insurance?+
Daily Occupations is an out-of-network provider. You pay at your visit, and you can request a superbill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so check your out-of-network benefits before starting.
Being out-of-network means care is shaped around your goals, not insurance visit limits: full 60-minute, one-on-one sessions with the approaches that fit you best.
How much does it cost?+
Current rates are listed on our online booking page. Payment is due at each visit, and a card is kept on file. Before your first visit, you'll receive a Good Faith Estimate, and after your evaluation, an updated estimate for your plan of care.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?+
Many clients do. Occupational therapy is often an eligible expense, but please check with your plan administrator to confirm.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate+
You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. You'll receive yours in writing at least 1 business day before your service, and you can ask for one before you schedule. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
What is your cancellation policy?+
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) and missed appointments (no-shows) are charged 50% of the session fee to the card on file. We'll let you know by email before any fee is charged. If you arrive late, we'll still see you, but your session will end at its scheduled time and the full session fee applies.
Life happens. If something urgent comes up, please call or text (440) 636-4533 as soon as you can. Fees may be waived for emergencies.
